Reflection
1. JUSTIFY HOW THIS PROJECT/ACTIVITY/ASSIGNMENT MEETS THE STANDARD, USING EVIDENCE FROM THE STANDARD ITSELF TO DEMONSTRATE YOUR MASTERY AND/OR UNDERSTANDING.
The standard for this assignment was standard 5e. The standard 5e was to be able to determine whether a solution is acidic, basic, or neutral. This assignment meets the standard because in this assignment I had to experiment if the 10 different solutions were acidic, neutral, or basic. I have experimented this by using litmus paper, if it changed to a warm color, it meant that the solution is an acid. On the other hand, if the litmus paper changed to a cool color, it meant that it is a base and if the color didn't change at all it meant that the solution was neutral.

Out of the 8 different SEP's I feel like I have gained the 6th SEP from this assignment which is Constructing Explanations & Designing Solutions. I feel Iike I gained the practices of Constructing Explanations & Designing Solutions because I completed a lab and wrote a conclusion for the lab I completed. Writing the explanation/conclusion helped me increase the skill of being able to write a better conclusion. It also helped me be more comfortable and be used to writing explanations/solutions/conclusions. This is one of the SEP I feel like I have gained upon completing this project.
3. Upon reflecting on your work/experience and/or score, what is ONE SEP you could have done better on? How will improving in this SEP benefit future work/projects? Give me next steps for improving in this SEP.
Upon reflecting on my work I believe I could have done better on many different SEP's. One SEP I could have improved on is the 3rd SEP which is planning and carrying out investigations. It was because this lab/investigation wasn't carried out smoothly, it was because of my lack in time management. I rushed through the project and there was many factors that could have affected the results of this lab. So improving in this area would help me be more prepared and planned out for future investigation or experiments.
4. HOW WILL YOU PRESENTLY APPLY THE CONTENT AND SKILLS YOU LEARNED FROM THIS ASSIGNMENT IN THE REAL-WORLD, OUTSIDE OF THE CLASSROOM? MAKE CONNECTIONS BETWEEN THE CONTENT AND YOUR LIFE.
I could apply the skills I learned from this assignment in many different ways. In everyday life I would be able to differentiate which solutions I could drink/ not drink. I could also apply the skills I have learned from this assignment in the real world if I become hydrologist. I would be able to use the skills I have learned from this assignment to learn if a certain type of solution is water. I would be able to use this to find drinkable/edible water for the future. I could also use this skill in future science classes and also on future tests like the CST/SBAC.
