Ancient China had two main rivers called the Chang Jiang and the Huang He. China was isolated because on the East side of China there was the Yellow and East China Sea. On the opposite side which is the West, China had The Pamir, Tian Shan, and the Himalayas mountain ranges. At Northern China there was the Gobi desert. Finally in southern China there wasn't anything new but the mountains from the west and the coastline from the east meet at Southern China. also since there is mountains oceans and deserts in China all parts of china has varied climate. The Chinas geography is also what caused the Chinese to build the Great Wall.

In China there was philosophies like Legalism and Confucianism. First Confucianism was created by Confucius to teach people proper conduct. Confucianism was based on the Five Relationships which were father and so, elder brother and younger brother, husband and wife, friend and friend, and ruler and subject. Confucius believed that proper conduct and respect starts at home so he emphasized on filial piety which was respect for parents. Legalism is a philosophy that a strong government and strict laws will help China overcome problems. Legalists main idea was to make people afraid to do anything wrong.

The Chinese also were the first to make philosophies like Confucianism, Legalism, and Daoism. China also had sculptures of soldiers that guarded Shi Huang Di's tomb. The soldiers sculptures that guarded Shi Huang Di's tomb was made out of baked clay called Terra Cotta.

It was called the silk road because mostly silk and other goods were bartered across the Silk Road. The road stretches from China to Central Asia to Mesopotamia and finally to Europe. On the way across continents Chinese use camels to go across and the traders traded silk, paper, jade, and pottery. In return the Chinese got sesame seeds, oils, metals, and precious stones. During the Han Dynasty it was also a good idea to use bureaucracy because it gave jobs to people which helped the government.

After will be peasants who were small farmers or farm laborers. Finally it was merchants and slaves which was the same in all civilization's .Also in China boys were more highly valued then girls because they were the ones who passed down family names to their next generation. In China there were also concubines who were the kings supporting wives. Before and after Shi Huang Di artisans were really important since China had a lot of wars and to make all those weapons artisans were needed.
